It was tou hua (bean curd) and kaya butter bread (old school soft bread from Balestier) for tea! Thanks to the volunteers for helping with the food preparations and serving them to the folks.
While every one of us may have left the home with a different experience, I’m sure we all felt the same sentiments – that we’d hope to do more for the folks the next round. If anyone has any ideas for activities or entertainment for the folks, please do not hesitate to speak up! All suggestions are welcome.
Note: It’s also nice to remember this day for the first downpour after almost 3 months of dry spell (albeit only lasting 5 minutes).
